Hello. My name is Kim Hopkins. I started an electrical contracting company called The Electric Connection in 1979. Since then we’ve grown into a 25-employee company, providing electrical services to homeowners and businesses throughout the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
Over the years, running a very active contracting business has afforded me the opportunity to meet many thousands of different people in countless types of situations. I’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly of contracting, business management, human nature, and life in general.
I’ve started this blog mostly for fun, and to see what happens when I post various “Rants, Raves, Ovservations and Answers” I may feel like writing about. If you have a question or comment about anything related to contracting or construction, or really anything at all that you’d like to communicate to me about, please feel free to do so.
